advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

Dysart Schools Volunteers

 

Members volunteer their time several hours a week to share their skills and life experiences with the students and teachers. You might find an AAUW member working with infants and toddlers at the Child Development Center, assisting with the preschooler, or helping elementary students with reading, math, English or computers. You will find them as mentors in the middle school working with students who need extra interest from a caring adult, or working with high school students who need one-on-one help in English proficiency. AAUW members work as office aides, and library or nurses assistants. They help out with sports and field trips.  You can find them where ever the schools need an extra pair of hands and a warm smile.
