What is AAUW?

Since 1881, the American Association of University Women has been the nation’s leading voice promoting education and equality for women and girls.  The Association has over a 100,000 members nationwide. Membership Information

AAUW membership is open to graduates holding an associate or equivalent, baccalaureate, or higher degree from qualified educational institutions that have full regional or appropriate professional association.

In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership.  There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.

The Northwest Valley Branch of AAUW has members from Sun City West, Sun City Grand, Sun City, Corte Bella, Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix, Tempe, and Queen Creek.

Our Branch meets on the third Thursday of each month, in the Webb Room of the SCW Foundation, at 9 am. (Corner of Stardust Blvd and RH Johnson)
